Do both players have to agree to accepT a word?

How do I make sure a word is never considered a valid word?
Tap thumbs-up/down and select “Forget”. The word will not be considered valid in future games.

How does the timer bar work?
During each turn, the timer bar moves from one side of the screen to the other to help keep the game interesting. If the bar reaches the end before a word is created the player’s turn continues but we suggest the player should create a word quickly, even if the resulting word is a low-scoring word.
How do I enable/disable the timer bar?
This is done in the Options menu.
Gameplay
When is the game over?
For a single round game, the first player to a high score – displayed at the top of the screen – wins. ¶ For a multiple round game, the first player to win the best of the number of rounds – also displayed at the top of the screen – wins. For example, in a game that is “Play to 1500, Best of 5”, the first player to get 1500 points 3 times wins the game.
How do I change the number of rounds or score to achieve, or for example, to play a longer or shorter game?
From the Options menu, scroll through the game play options to find the most suitable option and then tap “Play” or “Restart” to start the game.
What does “Quick Play” mean?
“Quick Play” is a version of the game that takes less time by automatically picking the player’s letters between rounds.
How do I play the game in another language?
From the Options menu, select the desired language and tap “Play” or “Restart” to start the game. To play in all available languages (other than the device language) requires a one-time low-cost purchase.
What does it mean to play in another language?
The letters will be from the official alphabet for that language including diacritic letters; words will be spell-checked in the language; and letter scores will correspond to usage in the language.
How do I select letters with diacritic marks?
Long-pressing letters that have diacritic variants (marked with an acute accent (´)) will show the letter’s variants. These are available in languages that use diacritic letters (e.g. French, Polish, etc).
The game automatically picks the letters each player can use. How can we pick our own letters?
In the Options menu make sure you have selected a game play that is not “Quick Play”, and press “Play” or “Restart”. Then, at the beginning of each round, letters without color will be presented on the screen. Players take turns choosing letters (consonants) by tapping the desired letter, starting with the player on the left, until all letters are selected. There is no need to select vowels – both players get all vowels.

Why do obscure letter combinations appear to be valid words?
In most cases, these letter combinations are correctly spelled abbreviations. For example, the abbreviation “CAL” stands for “calorie”. These can be ignored unless the players want to include abbreviations in the game.
Can I reuse the same word endings and still get extra word length points?
It’s possible to reuse the same endings (for example “ed” or “ing” in English) but to keep the game fair, the word length score will be slightly reduced.
Can I reuse the same root words?
Root words (understood in this app as the first four letters of a word) can not be reused. This keeps the game fair and interesting. Of course, there is nothing to prevent reusing root words/letters in future games.
